Communicable diseases are those that are transferred from one human being to another or from an animal to humans, either directly (by coughing or sneezing), or through vectors (living organisms such as insects), or by exposure to infectious material (such as the use of a contaminated needle).

Among the communicable diseases that are transmitted by the respiratory route are influenza, mycoplasma and COVID-19 (Coronavirus- 2019). The COVID-19 pandemic, over the years, has been creating confusion in its symptoms, since coughs are very similar to those of Influenza and Mycoplasma. Below, we will see similarity between these three diseases of the respiratory system.
