ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
for Healthcare Professionals

The Advanced Life Support (ACLS) course is a training program designed to provide healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary for the advanced management of cardiovascular emergency situations. This course focuses on advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, management of cardiac arrhythmias, use of emergency medications, and teamwork in cardiac arrest and other heart-related emergencies.

The hands-on instruction and simulated cases in this advanced course are designed to help improve skills in the recognition and treatment of cardiorespiratory arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.

The contents include: the application of a structured sequence for the evaluation and treatment of critical cardiovascular emergencies; the development of advanced techniques for airway management, electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation, and drug delivery; the recognition of respiratory arrest; early management of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA); and the treatment of bradyarrhythmias, tachyarrhythmias and other potentially lethal arrhythmias through pharmacological and electrical interventions.

The course is aimed at doctors, specialists, emergency technicians, paramedics and nurses. Upon meeting the accreditation requirements, a credential endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) is issued with a validity of 2 years as an ACLS provider.
